OILS, ASSUMPTION, REMS, PUREBREDS, SAS. Sketchbook of an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army named A Mos. He served in the IV Corps stationed in peacetime in Budapest. He took part in heavy fighting against the Russians in 1915 and 1916 in the Zborovsky district of Ternopil province. One of the divisions was commanded by General T. Rozwadowski. The area was also known for the later Polish-Ukrainian battles and the so-called Delwig Line of 1919.

During the time of the First Republic, Zborov district was shared between the Sobieski and Wiśniowiecki families. Olejów, as part of the Olesko key, was owned by the Sobieskis since 1598. In 1740, the daughter of Prince James Sobieski bequeathed the estate to M. K. Radziwill, known as Rybeńka. In 1672 King J. Sobieski made a tour of his Olesko estates. At that time he was hunting in Olejów, which he wrote about in his letters to Queen Marysieńka. Probably they had a hunting manor here. There are 10 depictions from Olejów in the sketchbook, including two panoramas showing the remains of a defensive foundation near the church.

The foundations at the end of the 16th century were in the hands of the Wiśniowiecki family. Along with Wiśniowiec, they were the family's main residence. The splendor of the castle was taken care of by Jerzy Wiśniowiecki, who died in 1617. Jerzy Wiśniowiecki. The splendor came during the lifetime of Dmitri George, the Great Hetman of the Crown, who died in 1682. In the church in Załozhce were the tombs of Janusz Wiśniowiecki, who died in 1636, and his father Konstantin. After the Wiśniowiecki family, Załozce passed into the hands of Jozef Potocki, Crown Great Hetman. He died in the castle in 1751. At the end of the 18th century the castle began to deteriorate. There are 20 depictions of the Founders in the sketchbook, 5 of which show what remained of the castle. It eventually succumbed to total destruction during the fighting. The sketchbook still shows a well-preserved quadrangular tower.

There were 5 depictions from Rem, which is 4 kilometers from Founders. In 1915. The Germans blew up the church. Also included in the sketchbook were Czystobrody and Sasów, villages close to Olejów and Załozce.

Overall, the iconography of these localities is impressive. There are panoramas and perspectives on several villages, there are individual houses, streets, etc., etc., etc. The whole thing is of great documentary value. RARE OBJECT OF SIMILAR SIGNIFICANCE ; dimensions 275x185mm, cardboard binding, condition of illustrations bdb .
