Franciszek Maśluszczak
(born January 21, 1948 in Kotlice) - Polish painter, illustrator, graphic artist.
Franciszek Maśluszczak is a graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Zamość, in 1968 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He received his diploma as a fine artist in 1974 in the graphics studio under the direction of Prof. Julian Palka. The greatest influence on the artist's education was Prof. Janusz Strzałecki.
Franciszek Maśluszczak took part in dozens of individual and collective exhibitions at home and abroad. His oil paintings, graphics and drawings have found their place in museum collections in the country and private collections. He is the author of illustrations for adult and children's books.
He designs covers, publications and posters. his works are featured in various titles of the daily Polish press. Since 1995 he has collaborated with the editorial board of the daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita.
His fate was described by Hanna Krall in the short story "Paint Shop with a.o." included in the book "Taniec na cudzym weselu".Winner of the Award of the City of Warsaw for lifetime achievement. Member of ZPAP and the Association's Program Council.
