Biography
Katarzyna Karpowicz graduated with honors from the local State High School of Fine Arts in 2005. She studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Professor Grzegorz Bednarski and in the studio of Professor Leszek Misiak. She defended her diploma with an excellent grade in 2010. Since 2014, Katarzyna Karpowicz has been listed among the top ten artists nominated in the Compass of Young Art. Katarzyna Karpowicz's paintings are in collections at home and abroad, and in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Gdansk. In 2019 she won the Anna Maria Siemieńska Grazella Foundation's creative scholarship for outstanding young artists.
