Tomasz Masionek was born in 1994 in Lubliniec. Painter, draughtsman, master of arts. In 2019 he defended his diploma at the Faculty of Art at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. Before deciding to go to college, he graduated from a construction technical school, so he touches on architecture in his drawings. He completed his diploma The Post of Warriors - an analysis of a male portrait in the studio of Dr. Bartosz Frączek. The reviewer of the thesis was Dr. Rafał Głowacki. "Post of Warriors" is a series of paintings in which the painter tries to show the "spirit" of masculinity and savagery from the old days, by painting portraits of rogues, warriors and kings. The paintings were repainted three or four times at a time, until finally the "intended" effect could be seen. The portraits are painted with oil paint using spatula, and a brush was used to emphasize details such eyes and lips. He also often reaches for such a form of self-expression as drawing. He analyzes architecture through lines and dashes using markers and pencil. He creates drawings that show architecture in a very detailed and interesting way. Currently, the artist is leaning towards different stylistic solutions, combining detailed drawing with free treatment of the image with putty technique. All the time, however, he is working on his characteristic portraits. As he himself says: , "It's a difficult road to be a painter, but it's worth trying.
