Painting after conservation.
Painter, prominent marine artist. He was educated at the drawing school in Odessa. Between 1892 and 1894 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under Florian Cynk, Izydor Jablonski and Wladyslaw Luszczkiewicz. From 1894 he continued his studies at the School of Drawing and Painting in Munich. After returning to Poland, he settled in Cracow. He was a member of the Warsaw TZSP. He was most fond of painting landscapes, often nocturnes, sea views were among his favorite motifs. He practiced oil technique, in the interwar years he used watercolor, gouache and pastel.
