Painter and printmaker, outstanding colorist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Cynk, Wyczółkowski, Pankiewicz, Mehoffer and Stanislawski, and continued his studies in Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin and Vienna. He was a member of the Artists' Guild "Jednoróg". In his landscapes he was inspired by the work of Stanislavsky. He painted still lifes, architectural motifs and portraits. In addition to easel painting and printmaking, he was involved in textile design.
