Château Chantalouette, Pomerol 0.75L 13.5%, 2017 vintage 2 bottles; Château Chantalouette Pomerol is the second wine from Château de Sales, which is one of the best-loved traditional estates in Pomerol, owned by the de Lambert family for more than 5 centuries. The château itself was only built in the 17th century. The estate covers 90 hectares (222 acres) of land, with a little more than half under vines. The soils are mostly sandy, mixed with fine gravel and patches of clay. The De Sales vineyard is planted with about 70 percent Merlot, and the rest is equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Estimated price: £375-450
