Władysław Roguski, coat-of-arms Ostoja [1890-1940] - Polish painter, graphic artist, textile designer. Studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Jozef Mehoffer and Jozef Pankiewicz. From 1911 he exhibited at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He served in the Polish Legions, fought in the ranks of the 1st Company of the 1st Battalion of the 3rd Infantry Regiment. then in the 3rd Light Artillery Regiment of the Legions. Beginning in 1920, he exhibited for two years with the Formists, and two years later with Rhythm and the group Plastyka, which was active in Poznań. He performed in the Ździebko cabaret. In 1922 he became a lecturer at the School of Fine Arts in Poznań. Arrested by the Gestapo, he was executed on February 3 or 29, 1940 at Fort VII in Poznań.
