Painter, student of Munich academy and Paris Académie Julian. After 1900 he settled in Rome, in 1907 he moved to Lviv. In addition to easel painting, he was involved in stage design and designed stained glass windows. Among his frequent landscape subjects, maritime motifs, views of Rome's Campania and Capri occupy a large part. Genre subjects include Arab scenes, Neapolitan fishermen, exotic beauties. The artist has perfectly mastered the pastel technique, his works are characterized by soft modeling and warm, saturated colors.
