Painter and graphic artist. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under the direction of F. Cynk and J. Pankiewicz. He continued his studies in Leipzig and Paris, where he lived for several years after his studies and ran his own graphic design school. After returning to Cracow, he continued teaching at the Free School of Painting and at the chair of graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts. He was a co-founder of the Artists' Guild "Jednoróg". He exhibited a lot and took part in the Paris Salons. He painted landscapes, decorative still lifes, often using watercolor. His work was influenced by French Post-Impressionism. Arrested at the House of Artists in Cracow, he was taken to Auschwitz-Birkenau and executed in 1942.
