Elzbieta Barszczewska (1913-1987) - film and theater actress. Before the war, she was known for her roles in "Trędowata" (1936, as Stefcia Rudecka) or "Znachor" (1937, as Maria Wilczur).
Benedykt Jerzy Dorys (1901-1990) - photographer, co-founder of the Union of Polish Artists Photographers. He made his debut in 1928 at the International Salon of Artistic Photography in Warsaw, and a year later (1929) decided to become a professional photographer and opened the atelier "Studio Dorys." During this time he became a photographer of the biggest stars of the stage and artists. After the war, in 1946, he opened an establishment in Warsaw, at 29 Nowy Świat Street.
