Map of Silesia taken from the German version of Sebastian Münster's "Cosmography" from the turn of the 16th/17th century. "Central Catalog of Cartographic Collections" notes the presence of a map under the same title in editions: 1598, 1614 and 1628 (CKZK II 31 and 71, CKZK I 87 and 148). Title above the upper frame, in the lower left corner in the frame a short text about the natural conditions of Silesia. Covers the area: Poznań-Olomouc, Kamnitz-Krakow. On the back on the right card a German text entitled: "Silesia. Schlesien nach beschreibung M. Martini Helvigij dem Elden [...] Anno 1561 und von M. Dauid Wolckenstein [...] verordnet Anno 1587" and pag. xiij. Contemporary line and surface color. Scattered vertical folds of sheet, trace of lower corner fold.
