Painter, associated with the Katowice-based St-53 and Oneiron groups. She was educated at the Katowice Branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Initially she succumbed to the fascination of Strzeminski's Theory of Seeing, and was inspired by the work of Maria Jaremianka. In the 1960s, she became interested in the philosophy of the Far East, and together with her husband, Andrzej Urbanowicz, they founded a Buddhist community. Since then she has been creating symbolic compositions with geometric arrangements and motifs taken from the Hindu "Tantra." Her later works refer to esoteric knowledge of color. The artist lived in Przesieka in Lower Silesia.
