Painter, student of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of W. Jarocki, T. Axentowicz, F. Pautsch and W. Weiss. Co-founder of the 1st Cracow Group along with S. Blonder, J. Stern, L. Lewicki, H. Wicinski. He participated in the Group's Krakow and Lviv exhibitions, and collaborated with the Cricot theater of visual artists. He spent the years of occupation in Krzemieniec, after the war he settled in Bytom. He became associated with the Katowice branch of the Academy of Fine Arts, where he obtained the title of associate professor. The subjects of his numerous works are still lifes, suburban landscapes, genre scenes in a cafe, portraits of friends. He has perfectly mastered the technique of watercolor, and has also painted oil compositions.
