Binding new, frontispiece and spine of original binding glued to new binding. Block sewn differently, minor stains inside. Cont. brief description of more than 200 manors, on plates, printed on stiff cards, documentary photographs. In the introduction, the author (owner of a photographic establishment in Czempen) wrote: "Traveling a lot in the Principality, I noticed that our souvenirs - manors and mansions of the nobility - these witnesses of the former splendor, are being depleted with each passing day, either by rebuilding the historical seats of our ancestors, or by dismantling and erecting new ones [...]. Descriptions of the manors rely on township documents, church books and on pads, diaries and other descriptions kindly sent to me by [...] owners."
