140x121 cm, manufacturing technique: oil, canvas, year of creation: 2007-2022
The abstract painting "Male Aggression" by Leszek Markuszewski is a fascinating work of art with impressive dimensions: height 140 cm and width 121 cm. The artist used oil technique on canvas, which allowed him to achieve deep, intense colors and richness of textures on the surface of the painting. The work was created between 2007 and 2022, suggesting that it was the result of a long-term creative process and artistic evolution. 'Male Aggression' is a painting that immediately grabs the viewer's attention thanks to its expressive composition and rich color palette. Although the title suggests the theme of aggression, the work is not a literal representation of brutality or destruction. Instead, Markuszewski explores the emotions and energy associated with masculinity, portraying them in an abstract way. Leszek Markuszewski graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 2003 to 2008, and earned his diploma in 2009 in Prof. Mark Sapetto's painting studio. He did an annex to the diploma in artistic textiles in the studio of Prof. Dorota Grynczel. He wrote a theoretical thesis under Prof. Wojciech Wlodarczyk, on the topic: 'What is art?' Leszek is a Renaissance Man. He works in painting, visual art, conceptual art, design, architecture and art theory. He is also a co-founder of the art formation La Grupa.
