Basic label of a small, ambitious producer - Patrick Javiller. It gives a great foretaste of his flag labels from the Meyrsault appellation. Even when it comes to the most everyday wines from this producers range, the true class of the wine can be easily noticed. Ripe fruits (peaches and ripe apple), floral notes which are kept in equilibrium with the citrusy, crisp acidity. The barrel can be noticed, yet it is very discrete, almost as makeup. On the other hand, chalky minerality is what stands out.
