The artist is a self-taught painter with an amazing technique. In the early 1990s she traveled to Berlin and Augsburg, as well as Naples, where she exhibited her paintings in the Torre Anunciata town hall. Upon returning to Augsburg, she organized an exhibition at the Kunsthalle, and there she met her representative and friend Herbert Schweizer, with whom she worked until his death in 1998. Between 1992 and 1998 she sold works to collectors in the US, Germany, England, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Mozambique. In 2007 she settled in the field of Cartagena. In 2014, she moved to Bullas (Murcia), where, in addition to painting, she began an artisan project in collaboration with the city's guild (El Zacatin). M. R. Arroyo has participated in numerous exhibitions, including: Casa del Cordón (Vitoria) 1983, Sala Olenca (Valladolid) 1985, La Latina (Valladolid) 1986, BBV Torrelavega (Cantabria) 1987.
