acrylic on canvas, 100 x 100 cm, signed and labeled on the reverse: 'Oliwia Mizera-Szymańska | OMS “Ebb Tide” | 2026', artist’s sticker on the reverse
A painter by profession, she holds a degree in history. In her work, she focuses on painting inspired by the aesthetics of Pop Art, creating colorful compositions based on spatial motifs. Her works are contemplative in nature; they are an attempt to pause the viewer for a moment and direct their attention toward the simple experience of color, tranquility, and breath. The artist reflects on the pace of contemporary life, in which it is increasingly difficult to find a moment of stillness or to connect with intense, vibrant colors. Through her paintings, she creates spaces that encourage pause and regeneration, restoring the significance of the present moment. She has participated in numerous charity auctions organized by the “Open Doors” Association for People with Disabilities, engaging in social initiatives through art. Her works can be found, among other places, in the museum dedicated to the memory of Violetta Villas in Lewin Kłodzki, as well as in private collections in Poland, Ireland, and Germany. She lives and works in Poland, developing her own distinctive painterly language based on color and mood.
