Lublin, January 1919 / card printed on one side, 24 x 16 cm / very good condition; small scratch on upper edge, small inscription in pencil
Propaganda leaflet of right-wing circles, calling for voting for List No. 2 in the Lublin district elections to the Second Polish Sejm. There were as many as 10 seats to be won in that district; only Warsaw had more to win, with 16 seats to be divided. The leaflet's message was to reach the broader strata of society - the No. 2 list is voted for by "the entire urban national-minded public: craftsmen, merchants, workers, employees, intelligentsia and urban women." In the end, the Nationalists won 2 seats; the clear winner in the Lublin district was the PSL "Wyzwolenie," which won 4 seats.
