acrylic, canvas, 70 x 100 cm, signed on the back

Born in 1977 in Rybnik.

Graduate of the Wojciech Gerson State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Lodz (major: Animated Film Production), where he received his Master of Arts degree.

Painter, illustrator and director of original animated films. His animated film "Attention: Bad Dogs!" was presented and awarded at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad, including OFAFA and the Krakow Film Festival. In October 2012, he made the film "Syrinx" based on a poem by Norbert Hummelt for the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival in Berlin. He debuted with an exhibition of "jutjub painting" at MiTo gallery.

He is currently creating paintings with "surfist" themes. Surfism - understood as a philosophy of life and author's painting trend - shows the richness of visual impressions, their contemplative dimension and the experience of unity with nature and the element of water.

His work also includes still lifes, cityscapes and works that are a commentary on contemporary reality, as well as compositions of a surrealist nature.
