Tomasz Bartelik (b. 1977), "Pegasus X," 2026

Biography
An artist who, in his work, deconstructs architectural rigor in favor of metaphysical freedom. After years of working as an architect and graphic designer, he abandoned the world of rigid plans and technical restrictions to find his own language of expression on canvas. His painting is a fascinating dialogue between a stark, geometric structure and organic dynamics. A hallmark of Bartelik’s work is the motif of a crimson ribbon—a symbol of pure energy, individualism, and a ceaseless striving upward. This ribbon, cutting through cool, almost architectural spaces of blues and grays, becomes a manifesto of the human will that recognizes no barriers. The artist’s philosophy is encapsulated in the slogan “Sky is no limit. Keep flying.” For Bartelik, a painting is not a closed composition but a window onto infinity. His works are appreciated by collectors who seek in modern art not only aesthetics but, above all, an impulse to act and the courage to chart their own course. “My painting is the moment where structure meets intuition. I build the foundations based on my experience as an architect, but I let color fly where no plans can reach.”
