Born in 1985 in Radom, Poland. From 2005 to 2011 he studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He received a diploma with distinction under the direction of Professor Adam Wsiolkowski. He is currently a third-year student of the Environmental Doctoral Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Prof. Adam Wsiolkowski. He has been honored with numerous prizes and awards such as the Janina Kraupe-Świderska scholarship in 2009, the main prize in the competition for a poster for Juliusz Słowacki's play Beatrix Cenci organized by the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Cracow. He was also the Grand Prix winner of the Franciszka Eibish national painting competition in 2012. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2010 and the Mayor of the City of Krakow in 2012.

"The works depict scenes with anonymous characters shaped by intense light. In working on the paintings, the painter used the medium of photography in an attempt to capture light, which, as he puts it, shapes time and movement.
He subjected the resulting photographs to purification, creating a compositional key indicating what is most important in the painting. (...) The artist creates mainly in the technique of yolk tempera. Colors applied in multiple layers, create colors that change depending on the point of looking at the painting. Dariusz Milczarek's paintings are multi-faceted, symbolic and full of mysteries. (...)"
