Biography
In his work, he sought to intuitively discover or touch upon the realms of thought and emotion of the human being of the future. Since his studies at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, he has attempted to synthesize and generalize the artistic formulas of his time. Between 1965 and 1968, he created a series of several hundred oil miniatures depicting the artist’s practice, which drew on experiences of realism, cubist phases, geometric compositions, organic abstraction, and eventually evolved into solutions involving light and color, as well as material painting. He constantly sought universal rules and an absolute order that would give everything a reason for existence. He named his artistic practice, which he developed from the ground up, “The Art of the Absolute.”
