Painter. He studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts from 1850 to 1852, and later, around 1857, in Paris. He lived permanently in Warsaw. He painted primarily historical scenes, including several depictions of battles against the Teutonic Knights. The collection of the National Museum in Warsaw includes, for example, the painting *The Battle of Grunwald*, which is also based on Długosz’s text and signed with the identical monogram F.S.
