Caroline SATTLER

German painter. She received her education in Paris from 1820 to 1827 where from 1823 she studied miniature painting with Jean-Baptiste Isabey and Jean-Baptiste Augustin and oil painting with Robert Lefèvre. In 1823, she presented eight miniatures at an exhibition at the Munich Academy. Beginning in 1827, she resided permanently in Dresden, where she primarily painted portrait miniatures and did lithography. In 1829 she married Alexander Ferdinand Tridon.
