One of the paintings of the artist's series in which mysterious nature takes on human characteristics and represents emotions. The unobvious tangled thicket of grasses, or perhaps hair or fur, brings up connotations of nature and emphasizes the emotional connection between man and nature.
Katarzyna Adamek-Chase was born in 1980 in Cracow, Poland. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Graphic Arts. She defended her diploma in 2005 in Prof. Jerzy Kucia's animated film studio. The diploma work was a stop-motion film realized in oil painting technique. In 2004, she held a six-month scholarship at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Politechnica de Valencia in Spain. She works in easel painting, drawing and photography. Her works have so far been exhibited in dozens of solo and group exhibitions.
