The scene evokes associations with another outstanding work by Stanisław Wyspiański, the design and realization of the stained glass window God Father - Become! from the Franciscan Fathers' Church in Kraków [design 1897-1904, realization 1905]. The purpose of the offered composition is unknown. The work was for some time in the collection of the Stanislaw Wyspianski Museum in Krakow, where its authenticity was confirmed.
