Łukasz Prządka, The Explorer, 2022

oil on canvas, 100 cm x 100 cm

Łukasz Prządka feels most at home with surrealist and fantasy themes. His works are images of distant worlds, as if plucked from fantasy books, designed to evoke emotions in the viewer. His works are full of inspiration; they are imaginative, innovative, and provide viewers with a wealth of sensory experiences. It is certainly impossible to pass by them indifferently; they capture the viewer’s attention, prompting them to delve into the world of their own thought patterns through the image. The artist’s paintings contain an element of realism which, combined with beautiful visions, stimulates the imagination and encourages viewers to go beyond their limitations and individual perceptions of reality and the world. They invite us to discover the world in a new light, stimulate the imagination, and take us away from the everyday. They give the impression of being on the border between reality and dreams. They combine elements of landscape, figures, and symbolism. They are unpredictable and revelatory, possessing depth and realism, which makes one wonder to what extent they are a product of the imagination and to what extent they are a realistic depiction.
Łukasz Prządka’s paintings can be found in the United States, Australia, Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic, and in many cities across Poland, among other places.
