Kamil Sipowicz (born 1953) - writer, poet, historian of philosophy, journalist, painter, sculptor. He studied history of philosophy at the ATK in Warsaw (1974-1979). He pursued doctoral studies at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the Free University of Berlin. His works include: the series of paintings Ark of the Covenant (1980-1988), Gods and Archetypes (1988-1999), a series of sculptures Totems (1982-2000) and collages Transmandale (2012). He is the author of such publications as: "Encyclopedia of Polish Psychedelia", "Hippies in the People's Republic of Poland", "Is Cannabis Made of Hemp?". He has so far published seven volumes of poetry, including "The Secret History of Elements," "The Metaphysical Swindle and "Cartesian Diseases."
