He belonged to the artistic Geppert family, from which his uncle Eugeniusz also descended. He studied at the Department of Automobiles and Tractors at the Warsaw University of Technology, the Ecole d'Architecture in Lausanne and the Department of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He created his key concept of Cub'art in exile in Sweden, where he went in early 1965. It was presented in 1969 at an exhibition at Club 44 in La Chaux- de- Fonds (Switzerland) and at the Aronowitsch Gallery in Stockholm (1970). In January 1975 he moved to France, where he died in 1982. The artist's works are in the collection of Moderna Museet in Stockholm and the Art Museum in Lodz.
