1971 5 zlotych “Fisherman,” a circulating coin of the Polish People’s Republic minted in aluminum at the State Mint in Warsaw, with a mintage of 1,000,000 pieces.
This piece is distinguished by a local under-strike in the lower part of the date, visible as a characteristic flattening of the lower portions of the digits.
The coin is preserved in very high mint condition, graded MS 65 by NGC.
An attractive item for collectors of “Rybak”-type 5-złoty coins and Polish People’s Republic circulation coins in high grades of preservation.
