Note: Extremely rare and desirable obverse legend with the PERPETVO title. Probus was the only roman emperor to use this title in the whole Roman coinage; the only other close analogy would be the Dictator Perpetuo title bestowed upon Julius Ceasar in the year 44 BCE).
Only the 4th specimen known (the other being: LANZ auction 154 lot 488; ROMA NUMISMATICS e-auction 7 lot 1205 and VCOINS/MARCANTICA).
Virtually as struck with great details and full original silvering. A magnifiscent coin, one of the highlights of this specialized Probus collection!
