The Imperial
Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter and Paul in Seltz (Selz) founded c.991,
by St. Adelaide of Burgundy (the one from the Otto-Adelaide pfennigs) who
died here in 999. That is why Seltz remains the centre of her cult to this day.
