depicting a young jazz dancer with carved elephant ivory head, shoulders, legs, and armsbust (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) placed on a marble plinth with bronze base.
Signed on the back on the hem “Orlandini”, Antoine Orlandini (French, 1886-1956).
