Engraved by Sandby after David Allan's drawings (1744-1796), who made a series of ten depictions during his stay in Rome; currently held in Royal Collection of Windsor's Castle.
Fine impressions, in very good condition; preserved and printed on laid and watermarked paper. The paper features some light oxidation, but the sheets are intact and complete with the original wide margins. Rare.
