This vertical collection represents the development of Chateau Pontet-Canet style during the 1990s - the years before this chateau's wine became highly regarded on the marketplace. The Cahteau is situated in the 5th Grand Cru, yet when it comes to reviews and prices it does not yield to best Chateau's pf the 2nd Cru. A huge advantage of this collection is that it does not include the worse vintages of the 1990s such as the 1993 or 1997, but it includes best vintages of the decade (1990, 1995 and 1996). Moreover, this collection was made available to the market during the spring of 2021, where before the wines were kept in the cellar od Chateau Pontet-Canet. I could not imagine a better guarantee of quality of the wine bottles !
