Hand closed, brass frame. Straight, disc-shaped yoke. Symmetrical shields fused to the hilt, reinforced at the edges. The rear arm in the shape of an elongated, flattened baluster. The front one, bent twice, forms a bail reaching the head and connected to the headstock. The spindle-shaped shaft, densely laced with filigree, set with a ring at the hilt, with the top of the head riveted with the headstock. The head in the shape of an octagonal vase, with a high, smooth foot. Handle elements decorated with floral relief. The steel head, polished, rhomboidal profiled on both sides, with a boneyard along its entire length. At the height of the pledge, on both sides of the amphibian, a groove in which the maker's signature "TOLEDO" and the marks of the armorers are stamped.
