Biography:
Pawel Zakrzewski
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Graphic Arts - practical thesis realized in the form of a book with illustrations to his own stories in the Book Design and Illustration Studio under the direction of Blazej Ostoja Lniski. He also graduated from the Polish National Film School (PWSFTViT) in Łódź with a degree in Cinematography for TV Realization, as well as Cultural Studies at SWPS in Warsaw.
His paintings are primarily expressive with a touch of black humor, in form referring to the aesthetics of Street-art, New Expressionism, or Brut-Art He is inspired by the cultures of primitive peoples, the world of microfauna and quantum physics. Creator of video-art, photographer.
