Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, was a professor at this university in the Alternative Design Department. He worked on posters, graphic design, painting His works are in many prestigious collections: The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, Ogaki Poster Museum, Suntory Museum in Osaka, Musee d'art decoratives in Montreal, The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Musee d'art decoratives in Paris, Moderna Musset in Stockholm, Deutsches Plakatmuseum in Essen, Poster Museum in Warsaw. Winner of many awards among others: First Prize at the International Poster Exhibition in Colorado, 1983; Bronze Medal at the International Poster Triennial in Toyama, 1985; awards at the International Poster Salon in Paris in 1986 and 1967.; award at the ADC International Exhibition in New York, 1987; Gold Medal at the International Poster Biennale in Mexico, 1992; award for originality at the International Competition in France in 1999; Master Eye Award in Trnava in 2000.
