Elżbieta Bocianowska – born on June 18, 1954, in Wadlewo. She graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź between 1976 and 1981. She received her diploma in 1981 from the Department of Graphic Design. Elżbieta Bocianowska is a master of small-scale graphic art. Nature plays the most significant role among Bocianowska’s creative inspirations. A distinctive nostalgia is evident in the artist’s works; a unique lyricism accompanies the depiction of rural landscapes, solitary trees, flowers, and insects. Each finely crafted fragment of reality is a separate work of art.
