Born in 1978. Urszula Gałązka is a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She studied from 2021 to 2024 and paints, draws and makes prints. The subjects of her paintings or drawings include still life, architecture but also fantastic worlds. She is also interested in geometric and folk motifs. She has a great eye for color, which is evident in her paintings, which are characterized by vivid colors. The paintings in the series "Rest Here Where the Garden Wraps You" were created as part of the painting annex to her thesis. They depict human beings in a fairy-tale world of nature. From this series comes the painting "Girl among the trees with bells". In the painting we can see different shades of green, which envelop so that you can feel like on a summer day when the sun is shining and a person seeks coolness among the greenery. The bells have grown so intensely that you can almost smell them. The girl is sitting on a log and resting or maybe waiting for someone? For whom?
