Dial ring signed "Seydoux Versailles".
Versailles, first quarter of the 19th century.
Functions: Lock disk striking mechanism on bell on the half hour. No pendulum present. Winding holes above the IIII and VIII, Breguet hands for hours and minutes, not tested for functionality.
Case: Rectangular base in red marble over edged gilt feet. Gilt bronze case in architectural design with flanking pilasters with lancet capitals and triangular pediment with decorative reliefs.
Dial: White enameled ring with guilloché center. Black Roman hours, Arabic minutes and baton indices. (14201828) (13))
