Austria, Vienna, 3rd quarter of 19th century.
Rectangular casing, on 4 console legs. On the front, a pair of columns with bases and heads in moled bronze. The base separated from the main body by a cornice with kimation pattern. Prism finial, cornice decorated with kimation. Shield shielded by glass, with Roman division on a ring covered with white enamel. Below the dial windows with a calendar converted for the use of a Polish client: with the day of the week, month and daily date. At the back, a glazed rectangular door, showing the interior with the mechanism and Polish calendar names wound on movable drums. The surface of the box on the front and sides decorated with marquetry with a motif of a stylized floral branch with volute acanthus leaves.
