Gilded bronze; height 55 cm; width 40 cm; depth 16 cm; signature on dial - obliterated; mechanism signed: "1063 / BASCHET / BAULLIER / PARIS".
France, Paris, ca. mid-19th century( in 1840-1850s, studio on Rue Vandome).
Base supported on legs; relief decoration with motif of flowers, acanthus, rocaille and swirling ribbon. Mechanism with Parisian system of beating hours and half-hours; dial covered with white enamel; Roman numerals. The clock crowned with the figure of a young woman, seated at a column with a vase, entwined with rose garlands; (key and pendulum included).
