Frame with rich woodcarving decoration. In the upper part a figure of a seated eagle with outspread wings. Below the motif of the sun and the dates "1914" and "1918". In the background a panoply with banners, whose spars join at the back of the figure. Side slats decorated with relief motifs of leaves and volutes. In the central part of the lower slat a cartouche with the monogram "MW".
