The Municipal Museum of Artistic Industry in Lviv was established in 1894 on the initiative of, among others, Franciszek Balatowski and Prof. Julian Zachariewicz, as well as the then president of the city of Lviv, Floran Ziemiałkowski. The museum collected various kinds of objects: ceramics, furniture, carpets, Polish belts, book bindings, kilims. The collection was enlarged through purchases and private donations.
The massif presents an inventory of objects from Hieronim Sadowski's foundation, which included objects of artistic craftsmanship, painting, graphics and furniture. It counts a total of 525 objects.
On the last page the stamp of the Municipal Museum of Artistic Industry in Lviv and the signature of the curator and head of the Museum, Henryk Cieśla, is affixed. The inventory is dated in Lviv, April 22, 1937.
The piece is accompanied by a collection of archival materials related to the Museum of Artistic Industry in Lviv and the figure of Maria Janii, who worked at the museum in 1938-1941 (?).

- a postcard depicting the Industrial Museum building. Print on gelatin-silver paper. Dimensions: 8.8 x 13.8 cm;
- letterhead (in blank) of the Municipal. Muz. Przem. Art. from the 1930s.
- 2 manuscript k. (unknown author) on Museum film paper with notations of an excerpt from St. Paul's "Hymn to Love" and excerpts from "Song of Songs". Dated. July 21, 1943.
- Invitation to the exhibition "Clocks and Watches from the 16th to the 20th Century" arranged in the Municipal Muz. Przem. Art.
- Certificate of graduation from the State. Gimn. gimn. A certificate of graduation from the Król. Jadwiga in Lviv by Maria Janiów (b. 1917-?).
- 2 labor certificates from the Soviet (31.12.1939) and German (28.10.1941, signed: "Julian Lischtschynskyj") occupation of Lviv;
- Inventory of art objects purchased by the [...] Industrial City Museum in Lviv during the auction of Giełdzinski's collection in November 1912 in Berlin. Kraków-Lviv 1912-1913. p. [6]. Height: 20.5 cm.
