[IWASZKIEWICZ Jaroslaw]. Handwritten letter from Jaroslaw Iwaszkiewicz to Zdzislaw Najder, dated. 13 Aug. 1966 in Stawisko.
One-sided letter on A4 sheet. Iwaszkiewicz, responding to the letter, congratulates Najder on his new achievement: "I am so happy that against everything and everyone, against the country and against foreign countries, you got to such a wonderful and responsible lecturing position. Moczar did a good job - I am very grateful to him for that" (he is probably referring to the lecturer position at Columbia University). He thanks you for your kind words about his sketch on Kierkegaard, adding: "I am now sitting still on translations of this Dane and sweating a lot. But it is necessary." Traces of folding, good condition.
