[IWASZKIEWICZ Jaroslaw]. Handwritten letter to critic Henryk Bereza regarding the publication of Waclaw Solski's text in Twórczość, dated. 21 VI 1979 in Stawisko.
One-sided letter on ark. 21x15 cm. Iwaszkiewicz's letter paper with his name and location printed on it. Letter addressed to editor H. Bereza at the address of "Twórczość". Iwaszkiewicz informs that he sent Rajmund (Kalicki) a short story "that Solski [probably Waclaw] sent me from America. I no longer glue who Solski is, I know that [...] someone's brother - neither Borejsza, nor Bierut" (in fact, W. Solski's brother was Jerzy Pański, a political activist and publisher during the communist era). Iwaszkiewicz himself does not want to take responsibility for directing the text to print, he asks for its evaluation. He also asks to telegraph Solski about the decisions made about the story's future. He ends with a paragraph: "Have you gotten over our dispute? I'm very sorry to you for everything, and don't break old relationships for the sake of foolishness. We must work together. I kiss you, Yaroslavl." Preserved original envelope. Good condition.
