The Virtuti Militari Cross, 5th class, Poland's highest military decoration. Version made in silver, in Great Britain by Spink & Son.
Award in the shape of a cross, in the center a white enamel crowned eagle with outspread wings. On the shoulders the inscription in black enamel "Virtuti Militari". The reverse has blank arms, the central medallion has a crown of laurel leaves, with the inscription "Honor and Fatherland 1792" in the center. The cross with a characteristic sling, on a ribbon with vertical navy blue and black stripes, on the reverse of the ribbon a visible mounting safety pin.

The above object was tested on a spectrometer which showed that it is made in silver (87.20%).
